韭菜炒豆乾/Sautéed Chives with Dried Tofu

This Sautéed Chives with Dried Tofu is a quick, easy and healthy side dish that takes only10 minutes to make.  According to traditional Chinese herbal medicine, chives help treating kidney illness and it’s 100% natural!


Ingredients:

·      7 oz flavoured dried tofu
·      10 oz Chinese chives
·      1½ tbsp olive oil
·      ½ tsp salt
·      1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
·      ¼ tsp sugar

Directions:

In a nonstick medium saucepan or a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.  Add tofu and soy sauce.  Stir until it is evenly brown – about 3 minutes.  Add chives, salt and sugar.  Keep stirring for about 6 minutes until all the chives are soft and tender.  Transfer to a serving plate.  Now you are done!
