芹菜炒豆乾/Sautéed Chinese Celery with Dried Tofu

This dish takes about 10 minutes to make. If you do not have Chinese celery you can cook with normal celery as well, just make sure to cut it very thin so that it will cook evenly.

Ingredients:

·      7 oz flavoured dried tofu
·      10 oz Chinese celery with leaves
·      1½ tbsp olive oil
·      1 tsp sesame oil
·      ½ tsp salt

Directions:

Cut the Chinese celery so that it is as long as the dried tofu slices.

In a nonstick medium saucepan or a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.  Add tofu.  Stir until it is evenly brown – about 3 minutes.  Add Chinese celery and salt.  Keep stirring for about 5 minutes until all the leaves are soft and tender.  Add sesame oil and mix evenly.  Transfer to a serving plate.  Now you are done!

This is the version of Sautéed Celery (normal celery) with Dried Tofu.  I julienne the celery and used the same recipe to cook it.  It was so refreshing and delicious!
