蒜蓉小西蘭花/Sautéed Broccolini with Chopped Garlic

This dish is simple, fast, healthy and delicious.  Even my 20 months old daughter loved it.  She kept snacking on the broccolini and asking for more and more.  We had to save some for her even though we liked it too.  Her favorite part was the flowering tips which soak up all the flavor and are easy to chew.  If you want to add some greens in your meal but don’t want to take too much time, this is a great choice.  This dish takes 5 minutes in total.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 10 oz broccolini
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ tsp julienne ginger
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

In a nonstick medium saucepan or a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.  Add chopped garlic and julienne ginger to cook for about 1 minute.  Add broccolini and stir along with the salt, about 1 - 2 minutes until the broccolini turns darker.  Make sure not to cook it for too long or the stalks will get soft and limp. Transfer to a serving plate.  A healthy and delicious Sautéed Broccolini with Chopped Garlic takes only 5 minutes.  Now enjoy!
